My critique for the console version of the game is that as far as I know, you can't do much if anything with mods. This game can really use them. For some reason Bethesda created some of the ugliest characters I've seen in a game. This can be fixed with a character appearance mod. I played it for a year on my PC and loved every minute of it. Knights of the Nine is a worthy if not small expansion. I finally burned out with the Shivering Isles. And for perspective, I don't care for Fallout3.
I put up this guide (http://guides.macrumors.com/Elder_Scrolls_4:_Oblivion_Tips_and_Cheats) on MacRumors.

Sorry, but I'll be checking in on the rumour sites during the show. delayed gratification is one thing, but, i won't be able to wait.
Well, I originally was supposed to go, but my travel buddy bailed out and now I can't go... i wanted to be there, but alas... it was too good to be true.
The next best thing is to watch the keynote 12+ hours later (and pretend it were live).

I live right near the Ardmore store, so I'll be going there for the release, but I already ordered my copy online just to make sure I get it.

don't know about iphoto, but no merge in aperture, or LR for that matter. you could perhaps use a publish setting such as book layout options to get the effect you want, but sounds like a better task for photoshop. if you want something free, photoshop elements.

I have a linksys Wireless Access point on my network that I have had for a few months. I just purchased a Airport Express for printing and it was a pain to get working with the Linksys.
I tried to get CompUSA to let me exchange the Linksys AP for the Airport, but they wouldn't. In my opinion I would have perfered to pay the extra $$ for the Airport then waste a day trying to get the Airport Express to work with the Linksys AP.
If you do go Linksys I would get the WRT54G because you can get 3rd part firmware for it that is much better then what Linksys has.

This does look like iOS4 is turning into Apple's Vista. I've begun noticing odd quirks with my iPhone 4. Frequently, the screen refuses to shift into landscape or portrait mode when I turn it. The only thing that seems to fix the problem is a re-boot of the phone. Reception is still wonky. In the exact same location it will shift from 5 bars of 3G to 1 bar of EDGE, then 1 bar of 3G and then to 3 bars of EDGE. I've had several bizarre syncing problems when either iTunes or iPhoto reported simply, "An error has occurred."
When it works, it's great. But it certainly has been more finicky than my old 3G, which was rock-solid.

Oracle has long dumped Oracle for OSX, so I'm not hopeful that Oracle Java 7 will ever see the light of day on Macs.
Oracle did no such thing. Were you maybe thinking of Sun? Many years ago?
No Java - No OpenOffice and a load of other apps on OSX.
You gotta admit, those are some of the fugliest and un-Mac-like applications out there.

Hi, I want to put some CD's that I purchased on my iTunes to put on my iPod. The only problem is that I am getting a new laptop soon, my BlackBook is dyeing.)))): Well, so far I have bought all my music on iTunes, but it's so expensive. I bought many CD's like I said, and I'm putting them on iTunes. When I plug the iPod into a new computer, it would ask me if I wanted to transfer my purchases. And everything that I bought would transfer. The songs that I got from other websites wouldn't transfer. But If I import the CD's through iTunes, will it still transfer to the new computer? Or do they have to be bought from iTunes?
Thank You!
Thank You!

Your baseband is not an exclusive version :/ It is in the family of sad un-unlockable children. Your brothers and sisters are 02.10 and 04.10. The golden child is 01.59.
Haha sorry, it's late t__t but yeah, unless they are magically able to unlock only 03.10, I don't see retaining the bb as any real value.
So the real question is, how big is the chance that a potential new unlock will only unlock 03.10 (and 02.10, which is what I am at)?
I'm kind of debating just updating to 4.3.2 (4.3.1 now) without baseband preservation and then hope a new unlock will unlock everything up until then. It's kind of a pain to update to a new version with baseband preservation, having to completely restore and resync everything...

Hitachi is ex-IBM, so they have the worst historical reputation.Actually not all of the Hitachi drives are off the old IBM production lines. Hitachi had their own drive business as well. Also, Hitachi has applied their own technology and resources to the forer IBM production lines.
And in truth, IBM had a couple of spectacular failures with one generation of drives that caused most of the IBM failure issues.

I'd love to have a place for flamewars as well. Some place to vent, call each other names, and just bash everyone and everything you think is dumb, or extremely frustrating.

I'm using Firefox with adblock right now and it seems to work fine, despite the fact that the page says it's not available for version 1.0+. I changed that to 1.0 and got the version that works.
Also, you might try Shiira. It uses the back-end that Safari and OmniWeb use to render pages and run JavaScript but it has its own distinct look.

A couple of potential issues with a second-hand G3 firstly, the G3's didn't have USB 2.0, that's only appeared on more recent iBooks (I think they started with the first generation of the G4 models). Secondly, unless you get your hands on one with AirPort already installed you're going to have to track down an older AirPort card, which Apple don't manufacture any more. You can get them from eBay but prices can get a little high. There are also some issues with certain G3 iBooks relating to the logic boards.
Personally, I think trying to get your hands on a G4 iBook with USB 2.0 might be a better bet. Either that, or let them keep yours and get them to get you a new one for Christmas. ;)
