I haven't done it recently - but I could never get the vids to play (always used Handbrake) - but maybe the updated PSP OS makes it so you can play anything now (you had to use a special Media Manager software to get it working)?
Will try later this weekend...

Not entirely sure on this, but I think you can set the cross fade feature in iTunes to eliminate the gap and then (and here's where I am not sure) those settings are synced to the iPod (maybe?).

The daily mail also have a video of him leaving a shop, looking "frail and unsure on his feet"
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1359384/Steve-Jobs-Video-gaunt-Apple-boss-weaving-feet-spark-new-rumours-health.html?ITO=1490
I must point out to all the non Brits here, the Daily mail is quite possibly the worst paper in this country. They're xeno and homophobic and often print outright lies.

My girlfriend's iPhone is laggy, a restore didn't do anything. Would replacing the battery help?

Awesome. :)
If you can, film a video from your phone as you walk out of the Apple store and show the line of people (which will probably be longer as daylight approaches), upload it directly from your 3GS to Youtube, and post the link on this thread. Interview the people in line!!! "Are you excited?" That would be awesome! :D
It's so great. Thanks a lots.

Not spamming, you requested advice, I simply provided it to you. After that it's your judgement whether or not to use it.
Thanks :)
Thanks :)

Andy Rubin sounds very wishy washy. Steve Jobs is very clear about it.
Rubin was a developer, so he knows there could be a bug somewhere, or leftover debug code like Google had in their collection trucks. Developers always hedge their bets when answering a question like that.

Does the file open if you double-click it in the Finder?
Are there any funny characters like space or accented characters in the full path to your xib file?

If you're looking for ram, I have several sticks of PC133 ram just sitting around after an upgrade. I have 128 and 256 sticks. email me at acgyssl@ilstu.edu if you're interested, and we'll work something out. I'm looking to get rid of them, as I have no use for them. Congrats on the new Mac!

I got into the reserve line at 7am and got out about 9:30. I had to do an upgrade swap and luckily they had AT&T reps there so it was all taken care of.

I got into web design in March this year--with a free Zoomshare site. My bikes were broken and the weather was poor, so I gave it a shot. I used NVU (http://www.nvu.com) up until July. CJB (http://www.cjb.cc) allowed me to be a little more creative on my site, and eventually I bought a domain name and upgraded hosting.
What's kept me going, even though I haven't made a dime yet (free projects), is trying to produce tidy code and learning new CSS tricks. From July-August, I learned CSS and XHTML (strict...). Next summer, I hope to learn PHP, then XML, and so on. What's frustrated me most since March is IE6. My design (http://www.deldindesign.com) site gets a little messed up in IE, so I've got some work to do still...
Is that MS IE6? If so it is full of bugs and is a pain too design for. It stinks, but 83% (http://www.thecounter.com/stats/2005/August/browser.php) of browser users or 63.7 Million people still use it. Firefox is second at 8% or 5.8 Million users (Firefox usage has actually increased quite substantially since its release).
It looks like we will be designing pages with MS IE6 in mind for quite some time, no matter how much of a pain in the ass it is. At least Netscape 4.0 isn't used much anymore, it used to be a nightmare to design for.
I wonder who the 15 people using Netscape 1.0 are?

Oh yeah, so many times playing this game I've been amazed at the sheer scale of the world. It's like an uber-MMO you play by yourself, but with much MUCH better gameplay.
You're really not restricted in many ways at all. There are some people you just can't kill, but I'm sure that's important to avoid breaking the game. You can go anywhere, do anything you want. You can be good or bad, Famous or Infamous... it's entirely open-ended.
There is a HUGE amount of the world full of completely optional locations, quests, and characters. But don't think that means you'll be left not knowing what the heck to do.
The quest system is fairly robust, and you'll always be able to pick up the main quest at any time. To make that even easier they've even made sure to place rally-points on your map for your active quest. Meaning you are rarely ever left wondering where the heck to go if you want to get back into the main story.
I've done some of the main quest, but I've been adventuring in the game for awhile now (easily 40+ hours) and still feel like this game has a ton of content left for me to explore if I really want to. Best value for your money ever... imho!
That sounds like a the kind of game I could get into. Add that to the FPS list the 360 has going, and the XBLA and I think I'll have to put my radar up for a used 360 pretty soon here... thanks for the input guys!

i tried on different hardware
i was thinking maybe i could give a log of something and then someone could see where it sticking
Attach it, but you might get more specialized attention if you also posted in the Apple Dev Forum, not that someone here might be able to help.

I didn't say anything about the iBook being able to play HD video.
I didn't say the iBook couldn't host HD video.
I understand both of those points. You obviously deal with a much higher bitrate HD than I do. I have 720p XviD/DivX and 480p h.264 so my bitrates are more in the 700KB - 3MB range. You're obviously dealing with 720p and 1080p h.264 which is out of the reach of my PowerPC hardware to play. I do host a little 1080p h.264 on my file server G4 though for playing on my media center mac mini which is a C2D 1.83GHz.
