That's better then the G4 you were looking at. Did you get the ALS ambient light senor model? or the standard? Either way it's priced right for a G5 with blue tooth and airport.
The only advice that I have for these models is that you open it up carefully, and blow any dust or dirt (with an air can not a compressor!!!!)out of the heatsink and fans that may have accumulated over time.
Look at the picture I attached to open the iMac G5. It's really simple. Just a note when the 3 case screws stop moving stop turning them, they do not come out, do not try to force them to come out. And don't touch the electronics inside with your bare hands unless you're properly grounded (http://www.wikihow.com/Ground-Yourself-to-Avoid-Destroying-a-Computer-with-Electrostatic-Discharge).

Technically it should. AFAIK, you should be able to put any speed DDR RAM into a PC and it will clock it down to the necessary speed.
Yeah, it should. And your statement isn't QUITE correct. There was PC1600. (Slower than PC2100,) but it was really unusual. By the time DDR became mainstream, PC2100 was the norm.

Oooh, I really hope you can help me. I'm looking for a bottom rubber foot (don't need the bracket, just the rubber) and a rubber screen "foot" for an iBook G4. I know it isn't much, but it would be really awesome if you could help me out. PM me if you can with how much you'd be looking for.

What could I have done differently to achieve better scale?
You do it here http://forums.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=282021&stc=1&thumb=1&d=1303178540
In this picture the mountain looks a lot bigger and the eye is drawn to it like your going along a path to its base.

Since the update, my iChat doesn't display my contacts names from Facebook anymore, just their numeric ID.
Anyone who has a clue how to fix this?

My apologies for being vague, but I too are not sure about your setup as well. So bare with the directions.
Open WireTap, select preferences;
File saving setting: select the desktop.
Recording file settings: QuickTime Player
Sound Compression settings: None, 44.1kHz, 16bit, stereo.
This should set up your files for import.
Open iTunes. Select add to library and add all your desired files. Make a new playlist. Add all the newly imported files and burn.
*Make sure your discs are compatible. Make sure your time length doesn't exceed the capacity of the disc. If this stuff doesn't work, read everything possible to broaden your computer skills. That's what I do. Cheers! Bmode.

Seems like a pretty good choice. I didn't realize anything was beating the Vertexes, although it's been about a year since I went shopping. (The IBM's were always a little faster, but a lot more dollars as well.)

How old is your PB - there was a battery recall.
I hope that PB was fixed under warranty.. heck, even if it is no longer warranty I expect it to be fixed!

To be honest, I'd probably get more excited over any optics that Nokia will bring to WP7.
A friend of mine is unfortunate enough to own an N8 but boy is the camera good on it. :)
Nokia has always made quality hardware, but as the Smartphone started to change to what we know now, It was sorely let down by Symbian.

So then it wouldn't matter if they could or not?
Well, do they hurry home and try to do it? Or just forget about making an extra trip home since it can't be done anyway?

I used an AExpress to extend my AExtreme wifi. At first I misunderstood and ran a wire to the AE and plugged it in ethernet and told it to extend the wifi. Boy things got fouled up then. I found out after a quick phone call with Apple that I didn't need to run ethernet to the AExpress for it to extend wifi. So I got it set up and then walked upstairs to the hallway between the kids' rooms where they were having spotty wifi coverage. I plugged in the AExpress and it went "green" after only a few moments.
It would be nice if these devices could extend on anothers' wifi but I don't mind having our house "all Apple" as our experience has been relatively trouble free since doing so. I went through several brands of routers before settling on AE. For a while, I even had a Time Capsule as a router. When the ability to set up a guest network became available, I sprung for an AExtreme despite the fact I already had a TC. Past routers we had tried include a Linksys WRT54GS (v5), Zyxel and several others I can't remember. The only things they did better than Apple gear is you could set them up using any web browser and there were a few more flexible settings, but everything else about them was awful.
We use ComCrap internet and the cable modem knocks all our routers for a loop whenever ComCrap decides it's time for us to get a new ip address. All our routers that is until I started using Apple gear. What was once a monthly and sometimes biweekly power cycle ritual has only happened once in 18 months since dumping those other routers. And the one time it did happen, ComCrap admitted they had taken down the service for one of their digital channel scrambling rituals and knocked hundreds of customers off the net.

Let's see.
5-Row keyboard it lets you change the layout and add numbers on top of the regular one.
SBSettings
WinterBoard
RetinaPad
MultiFlow
SwitcherMod
CyDelete
IFile
PkgBackup
All those make my iPad so much better.

As a previous poster said, I am also folding to heat my room. I am running FAH on my 3.06 GHz Celeron (aka My Server) (see sig) and it is amazing how much heat that makes. Intel's Prescott line of CPU's produce incredible amounts of heat, and the 3.06 GHz Celeron D runs folding at about 125º F, and my case is (shockingly) around 78º F. My parents are really cheap and don't heat the house enough (my room is about 63º F) and when I started running FAH this winter fulltime, I noticed that it went up to about 68º F.
More seriously -
I am folding because my aunt has had cancer twice, and this time it doesn't seem like it wants to go away. :(
Also, a family friend has cancer in her bone marrow, which they are not sure how to cure. They are trying but they can't figure out how. :(

I set my grandparents up on a 350mhz powermac g4 about 7 months ago and they love it. I use a powermac g3 400mhz every once in a while to play some older great games, "You Don't Know Jack" They are truly great machines.
Getting to the point, for video cards try lowendmac.com they have forums dedicated to ppc and I'm sure they have all the different and best cards available for your g5.
