Hi all. I've been reading and searching but have a couple of questions about my 'new' Apple Power G4 Dual 867 Mhz. I'm going to be using it for media storage and as a back up device for my iMac and macbook. Its going to be in my bedroom so we can watch films etc in bed on lazy days as well.
My questions are:
Can I use a Sata drive run from a PCI Sata controller card as the boot drive?
Will the power supply be up to running 6 hard drives inside? (4 in standard locations and one in each 5.25 bay)
Are there any perennial issues with this model I should look out for?
I want to give it a good going over before I get it up and running. I was going to clean and reapply Arctic silver to the CPU/heatsink interface, upgrade to 2Gb RAM, replace the rather noisy fan with a higher CFM quieter version and anything else you guys can recommend

The fix is simple actually... cut spending and increase revenue. If we had to pay a dollar for a dollar of services our tax rate would be MUCH higher. Therefore what we need to do is cut spending a certain percentage and raise taxes a certain percentage and meet in the middle.

You'd be surprised how many people reluctantly put up with AT&T's abysmal service just so they can have an iPhone.
People like me, who really like the iPhone but consider AT&T unbearable, are using older generation unlocked iPhones on T-Mobile, which, despite any of its faults, is far superior to AT&T.
I'm looking forward to getting my Verizon iPhone. I'm saddened to be leaving T-Mobile (their customer service is excellent, and their pricing and optional services are top-notch), but Verizon offers better reception in my house.

Same here. The mismatched iOS versioning between the AT&T and Verizon iPhones is beginning to remind me of Android. Because of Apple's history of ensuring all current iOS devices are on the same release is a big reason I made the move from the Droid X, and now Apple is doing it too. Whether or not I see a benefit from the latest iOS release, I want to be sure I had the latest and greatest rather than play the wait game plauging many of the Android based phones.

If it turns out that their decision keeps customers from subscribing, then they might choose to reconsider.

anyone know of an app, thta can find DVD coverart, atm i can't find one (please nobody, don't say Delicious Library), I'm looking for something a bit like DVD Cover Searcher Pro from www.cheapshareware.com (http://www.cheapshareware.com) , but this is only Windows, great app though.......just wondering if theres something similar on the OS X front.....anyone??!!

Despite the birth rate in the UK being around 2 (1.96 if I remember correctly) there are, sadly, plenty of children/babies in need of a good home. Recently, the law was changed to ensure homosexuals would be able to adopted children if they want. Lesbian couples could also ask for a donor, and gay couples for a surrogate.
We need to move beyond the idea that marriage is about a man and a women reproducing. Firstly, it isn't about that. Secondly, there is no reason same-sex couples can't raise just as many children as heterosexual couples.

If you right-click iTunes in the Finder and choose "Show Package Contents", you will find graphic files in different sizes (cd, dvd jacket) for all the genres iTunes recognizes. I believe it is possible to add your own graphics/genres provided you follow the naming convention.

Against what I originally said I shelled out another $3 and bought the update. Was it worth the $3? no not really. Lost the themes. As others have said the UI is over designed and not completely functional. I have noticed some missing tweets, this is NOT acceptable.

So you can get a 1TB hard drive for $80.... 12,000 of those.... not that big of an expenditure tbf.
1TB Fiber Channel , 15K RPM SAS drives or SSD are much more expensive. You don't really use desktop harddrives in a SAN.
