I played with a Samsung Blackjack this weekend and boy was that sweet (other than it was running MSMobile). I really hope Apple comes out with something like the Blackjack except with their own mobile OS.

I hate AT&T with a passion. Yet, I'd never switch to Verizon because I'm hooked on 3Mbps + speeds. They're the crack of carriers.

Hey guy's, I have a tangerine iBook G3 Clamshell. Everything is perfect on it except that I need to get a hard drive for it, and I need a faceplate for the CD drive. Here is a link to what that part looks like.

It is clear that Apple has been at best disingenuous on the issue, and at worst downright dishonest.
Not only does the data collected fully amount to tracking, but Apple also apparently patented this in 2009 - so to claim it was a 'bug' seems questionable.
Not saying other OSs do better (I don't know), but Apple can't simply say 'others do bad stuff, so that justifies us doing it'. But the dishonesty is the bigger issue.

I don't totally see the connection, but I love this promotion. What a good cause!

We've participated in Folding@Home for years, and members have organized many other group activities themselves. I'm a long-time proponent of blood/platelet donation myself (having donated over 60 units) so I was certainly in favor of it. The other administrators and moderators, some of whom have interests and knowledge that was directly relevant, helped work out the details for what an online blood drive would mean. So here we are!

It is nice to see Waterworld though as the contest for it never happened and the cartridge was printed in very limited supplies.

The resizable text box will be awesome. There is nothing worse than some lame brain web designer that only lets you see one or two lines at a time when you need to see a lot more.

Yes, because the hardware manufactured decided to use "GB" for Gibibyte instead of gigabyte. But since all memory (hardrives, ram) are in base 2, 2^30 = 1GB is correct.

Exactly. If AAPL leaves the retina display untouched, and just adds the A5 chip, a new NFC chip, and with whatever goodies iOS 5.0 will bring, that to me is a whole new phone, definitely worthy of the 5.0 moniker.
